Gateway Region is governed by an assembly of Boards.  The 9 member Executive Board is voted on by members of the General Board.  The General Board is comprised of 2 boards and annually appointed officials.  The 2 boards are comprised of 9 At-Large Representatives, and 6 Geographic District Club Directors.  The annually appointed officials include a Junior officiating coordinator, a Beach programming coordinator, and any other position that may present itself as a need for region programming.

3 Executive Board seats are up for re-election every year and take place at the May Board Meeting, and are voted into office for the August Board Meeting.

Those that wish to run for At-Large or District seats will have a 3 week nomination period thru the month of May to submit resumes for the June Ballot.  Ballots are then sent electronically via Survey Monkey to all region members in good standing for a 3 week voting window.  Once voting closes in early July, votes are tabulated, and the Region Secretary will contact all candidates with results.  Board members will then be posted by the August Board Meeting.
